Deer Park Family Doctors is a new practice in an old
neighborhood. Our goal is to provide quality out-patient care and
preventative health services for patients of all ages. We combine our
medical expertise with compassion, and careful consideration of your changing
health care needs.

Cathy Hammond and Terry Weiss are graduates of the University of Louisville's School of Medicine, as well as
its Residency Program in Family and Community Medicine.
We are certified by the American Board of Family Physicians, and are members of the
American Academy of Family Practice, the Jefferson County
Medical Society and the Kentucky Medical Association. We
bring maturity, knowledge, diverse experience, and warmth to your health
care.

Cathy is a Louisville native
who earned a Bachelors
Degree in Mathematics at the University of Louisville. She had a career in
mathematics and computer programming at 1st National Bank and Blue Cross /
Blue Shield, before returning to medical school.
She is married,
and has a daughter and two step-children.

Terry grew up in California but adopted Louisville as
her home after finishing her bachelors degree in Humanities at Bellarmine
University.
Terry is a trained conflict mediator and former teacher
of conflict management skills. She is also the former director of the
Council on Peacemaking, a former trustee of the Cherokee Triangle
Neighborhood Association and a proud resident of the Highlands.
Terry is married to cardiologist, Morris Weiss, and she
enjoys a large, blended family with her husband, sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. |
